its been a wonderful year

age brings along with it maturity of thought
looking back never fails to make you feel so incredulous
it really begs the question, was that really how i was last time?

21 is a significant age
but definitely significant enough for one to say,

This is it, i am an adult.

when does one become an adult?

when does one really finally mature?

over the past few years, i always felt that i have finally matured
and with the passing of every year, i m constantly amazed by how much more i have matured, even though i had thought that there was already no more roof to grow

another year beckons, how much more will i grow?

will one ever stop growing? i hope not
isnt it wonderful, to be able to look forward to each new year, knowing that its another year for you to grow again? another chance to gain new perspectives, learn new things abt yourself, and of course about others as well
